Rehana Yasmeen - Chief Executive Officer 

Rehana Yasmeen has dedicated her career to improving educational outcomes and nurturing strong, compassionate leadership. Beginning her journey as a Newly Qualified Teacher at Leigh Primary School in 1992, she has grown through every stage of leadership — from Headteacher to Executive Headteacher, and now Chief Executive Officer of Leigh Trust. Rehana has successfully led a number of schools on their journey to becoming ‘Good’, including those previously in Special Measures or Requiring Improvement. In 2014, she co-founded Leigh Trust and served as Deputy CEO, helping to grow the Trust into a successful family of seven schools across Birmingham and Walsall. Since becoming CEO in September 2024,

Rehana has continued to champion leadership development, collaboration, and a shared belief that “Together Everyone Achieves More.” Her commitment to empowering people and creating a culture of care ensures that every child across Leigh Trust receives the very best education and opportunities to thrive.
